(This is the perfect time)”이라고 전한다.

타이틀곡 Alder roads 가사_ Deep on mountain logging road, The brush is thick the alders
overgrown | The hike is coming to a halt quick, as we slow | Rain funnels on my back and soaks, as my deflated optimism shows | My brother calls out for an evac. Take us home | The sun is always creeping, ready to show | Up on the second leg we rose, when suddenly a storm cloud
interposed | I think we’re heading for a whiteout, here we go | Rounding a glacier one by one | We don’t know where we’ll go or where we’ve gone | We’ve ventured miles off the course now, we are lost | To my sister we all pleaded, take us somewhere where the
altitude is low | She said I never heard you talk like that before | I am getting overheated, I am waiting for the winter months to
form.

DAVE BECK ENGLISH PRESS RELEASE
Dave Beck is announcing the release of his critically acclaimed album "Stranger Homes” in Korea. Formerly based in Brooklyn, Beck spent four years performing and developing his craft amidst the New York scene, and has received very positive regards from multiple national tours. The album was recorded over the course of 3 months at Galuminum foil studios, starting with Beck playing all of the parts and eventually bringing in friends as guest performers.
In Korea, Dave Beck is known for his appearance on the hit Korean TV show 무한도전 (“Infinite Challenge”) as a Think Coffee barista, and has since noticed a steady stream of followers to his music. It all started in the fall of 2009, when 무한도전 invaded the busy Manhattan coffee shop. As the line wrapped out the door, Beck served the Korean actors who were dressed in costumes as they attempted to order coffee like a New Yorker. It wasn’t long after the show’s airing that the shop transformed forever. |
” just as they’d seen on their favorite TV show. This led to the eventual opening of Think Coffee Korea in the fall of 2011, when Beck made the voyage over for the grand opening in Seoul to play a rooftop concert and help with the new shop. Now, Dave Beck lives in Seoul and is set to officially share his music with his new home. The album translates the transitions of his Iowa roots into the years of developing as a musician in New York City. It’s about love, transitions, and ultimately finding a home away from home. You can catch Dave Beck performing anywhere from the streets of Insadong to the halls of Hongdae. Or, you can find him hanging out one of the various Think Coffees in Seoul.

Alder Roads
Deep on mountain logging road, The brush is thick the alders overgrown The hike is coming to a halt quick, as we slow Rain funnels on my back and soaks, as my deflated optimism shows My brother calls out for an evac. Take us home The sun is always creeping, ready to show Up on the second leg we rose, when suddenly a storm cloud interposed I think we’re heading for a whiteout, here we go Rounding a glacier one by one We don’t know where we’ll go or where we’ve gone We’ve ventured miles off the course now, we are lost To my sister we all pleaded, take us somewhere where the altitude is low She said I never heard you talk like that before I am getting overheated, I am waiting for the winter months to form. |
Undecided Title
The five or the six train, the left or the right brain Where are my connections and how much longer must I wait The express or local, as I try to vocalize my indecision And how I would stay in one place And I feel the pressure from within to have a take So I will, so I will say We’re gonna right it off just for one day And we will be all saved But go ahead go ahead wait I’ve got a lot of things left on my plate But I’m the one starving Different religions, and the smooth politicians And the girl down the street, whose questions challenge what you think I think I’m falling after her, I’ll have my take |
If you build it
Could someone please just tell me kindly What my true intentions are I see the shadows, lurk behind me in the dark I do see the potential but I also see the bar I see the inches hand the athlete every loss I hear em’ whisper go, go, go Is this for certain no, no no But did you know that if you’d build it they could come If fear kept me out of trouble Would you mention that it helped? Or book the weakness that my backbone couldn’t shelf I could round up all the dangers I could throw em’ in the hole But if not guilty, would my backside, then expose The sky, is high, the buildings draw the line Rooftops
So lie down bedridden in your backyard Your pressing sham Could it go that far? What’s in your backyard? Why aren’t you curing flaws? And why not sale? Could you even go that far? We’re gonna shout it from the rooftops here we are We will be gone until we figure it out We’re gonna shout it from the rooftops out loud So look out, you’re talking like a townie Your plundered shell’s got you talking loud What’s with the bruising? The droning’s getting long Do you feel it? Would you go if you were wrong? The evangelist
Walking on the street and you stopped me You told me of the abc’s to belief History repeats, I was doubting Just before I found myself on the ground on my knees You were like a hope, like a savior Someone who could wipe it all away I would make the claim, of a sinner How could I have been so far away from you Cuz I think I’ve been converted by my love. She’s a sweet sweet evangelical You would fill the void of a crater Perfectly you fit the mold it wore Dedications made to a stranger How long would this feeling last before it fades Go on going
I drove out, demons and thoughts about Staying here, we’re going there The waves met the shore A vision came to form of what will become, of what will be done I walked on stars, I cruised all of over boulevards I got carried away The forecast called for a clear and mild day What would you settle for get me aboard I won’t cave in Get me aboard They’re trips and falls some visions won’t show up at all they got carried away I’ll find myself starting back where I began Go on go on go on I’ve got a lot of plans I’m gonna waist time And make adjustments This is the perfect time I will be close behind My shoes have come untied So I will step aside |
Based on Before
The land before the time, I caught up with my mind Let’s not give this new feeling more than it amends Disguised it returns now to trip us once again But I think I remember you from way back when And I don’t think your right I wont let you decide Cause you met me here before we chose the time I felt the slightest nudge that dropped me in the whole It shades the theories that the sunlight would expose But if I climb right out I’d feel the slightest pull Cause I thought this way before I even walked But I don’t remember the pain upon my palms We saw a sign that read do you know what the hell you’re reflecting You swallowed hard and said it’s where I’ll stay it’s all I’ve ever been And the bed is dry now We tried to pick a side but biased measures chose the favored line The road of facts began to trail away we’d leave it all behind And the bed is dry now What would we do based on a war, that we found based on before? where the Music Lies
Sing to me darling I need to hear the sound. My ears are ringing as if they’re finally found. I can’t find the harmony I’m a half step down I’ll reach I’ll reach but would you wait around Maybe it just takes a while Just drifting down in the Nile Please just take me home Maybe it’s time to come home Please just take me home where the music lies. Tapping your feet you sing to the beat My body follows along and finds relief For the kid by the pool who merely sticks his feet, in as he watches his friends dive complete Shaking my head no I needn’t sing this song A look in your eyes and my fortress starts to fall I clear my throat quickly and slowly start to hum I ‘ll wait I’ll wait the melody will come Mississippi
I met you at the Mississippi, but on opposite sides This river’s deep as it is wide I discounted margin of error, by pointing on a map My fingertips were not exact I have seen the walls come down I have seen the walls come down I didn’t see the moat around I didn’t see the moat surrounding at all Instead I’d meet you in the city with avenues and streets I’d pick a place I’d be distinct You’d got caught up just south of Houston at Spring and Lafayette you should go east you should go west This place stretches me from the ceiling to the floor It’s where I lost my love and it’s where I’ll search for more And you have no business leaving new york Stranger Homes
The opening statements of the high court cases To convince the other jurors to obtain you point of view the point of you, is the undoubted proof I could take a million pictures and they would never catch the view of you My mind wanders out to find yours It may be too much distance for the sprinters to uphold In hopes to cherish Delicate don’t tear it By the time we found it out we parted toward our stranger homes I could count the reasons, I could add them up ask why I could bear the season, until the next one arrives I could change for you, if you would do the same, but where you come from the seasons don’t change |
